In 1999 we visited this beautiful paradise in the Atlantic.
About 600 miles east from North Carolina you find this extra-
ordinary place of former colonial time buildings and extended
gardens. The whole Island appears like a big park.

In Bermuda you get a very warm welcome. Not only the musical
one at the airport but with temperatures from 60 to 90 deg F
(15-30 C) the first step out of the Boeing becomes strenuous.

    warm welcome at BDA airport

Allthough Bermuda has only an area of about 18 square miles
one can find a lot of exclusive attractions e.g. the smallest
draw-bridge of the world, the Natural Archs or the Royal Naval
    Dockyards.

We also visited DL7OKs friends of the Radio Society of Bermuda.
Special thanks to VP9HK who showed us the whole Island and let
us know the other Bermudian OMs. It was very impressive and
forced our descision to become liscensed. Also many greetings

to VP9ID who is the friend of VP9HK. We were very amused
and it was a great honour for us to take part in the
Royal Annual Dinner of the RSB and watch them awrding their
    friends for very extraordinary golfing
